SKATING RINK RULES OF CONDUCT
FOR THE SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT OF ALL PATRONS AND SKATERS OF THE SKATING RINK, ALL PATRONS AND SKATERS MUST ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES:
01. This is an unsupervised skating rink, use it at your own risk.
02. Use caution when entering and exiting the ice.
03. Patrons are prohibited from doing figure-skating maneuvers, skating fast or erratically, racing, or skating backwards.
04. Patrons are prohibited from playing hockey or shinny while on the skating rink.
05. Patrons are prohibited from engaging in rough play, bullying, pushing, tripping, interfering with other skaters or participating in multiplayer games (such as tag) while on the skating rink.
06. Patrons are prohibited from talking on cellphones or wearing headphones while on the skating rink.
07. All children under the age of 12 years must be actively supervised by an adult.
08. Although recommended for all patrons, children aged six and under must wear a CSA-approved helmet that covers the back and sides of the head while on the skating rink.
09. The following are prohibited on the ice
- Food and/or drinks
- Bags/personal belongings
- Hockey sticks, pucks or other sticks, hockey equipment, and toys
- Sleds, toboggans, and strollers
- Animals
10. Patrons are prohibited from drinking alcohol, smoking, or loitering on or around the skating rink.
11. Accessing or using the skating rink is prohibited between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Rink lighting will be turned off during this time.
12. Canada Lands Company CLC Limited and any of their affiliates are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
13. Do not use the skating rink if the conditions have melted or otherwise affect the integrity of the ice.
14. Any person not complying with these skating rink rules will be asked to leave.
